Designated Sterilisation Room
Here at Staina House we take the health, safety and wellbeing of our patients very seriously. We have a dedicated, state of the art central sterilisation room where all of our clinical staff follow up to date protocols to ensure instruments used on patients are perfectly clean and prevent cross-infection.
We adhere to strict sterilisation protocols
All clinical staff are fully trained in cross infection control and adhere to strict protocols for the disinfection and sterilisation of instruments. All of the protocols we follow conform with current BDA, GDC and CQC guidelines. Staff keep up to date with the most recent guidelines by completing annual training in this area.
We disinfect our surgeries after every patient
Where it is not possible to safely sterilise instruments we use single use instruments, meaning that they are used exclusively for your treatment and then disposed of.
The same principles of cross infection control are applied to the cleaning and disinfection of the surgeries themselves throughout the day between every patient. In addition to this at the end of each day, all clinical and non-clinical areas are professionally cleaned.
Fully trained staff
Our staff are trained in medical emergencies, CPR and first aid. They undergo annual training to keep up to date with the most recent guidelines.

Patients registered with the practice may have a dental emergency outside of normal working hours. Please phone the practice on 01995 605 707, where there are instructions on how to get help on the practice answering machine.

Denplan transfers are accepted at our practice.
Our dental practice has disabled access to the front and a disabled parking space.
