Staina House Dental Practice welcomes all new patients. There is no dental problem too small or too big, whether you require emergency care, general dental care or simply looking to change dentist, we would be very happy to see you as a new patient.
At your first appointment your dentist will complete a New Patient Examination which will gather information about your gums, mouth and teeth. This appointment will involve you completing a Medical History Form, followed by Xrays if necessary. From this a diagnosis will be made and a treatment plan produced for you.
Here at Staina House Dental Practice we offer you the full range of treatment options available. Every new patient exam includes a consultation, to get to know you and discuss any treatment preferences. Your dentist will happily discuss any questions and you will be given a paper copy of your treatment plan.
We can usually provide you with appointments within a short space of time. We will always try to schedule appointments conveniently to best fit in with your lifestyle.
You are very welcome to visit our practice before making an appointment. Please let us know in advance and our friendly team would be more than happy to show you around.
To register as a new patient, please call our practice or contact us to book an appointment.
COVID-19 New patient update 05.06.20
Our dental practice is still taking on new patients enquiries and we aim to help as many people as we are able.
Many of our existing patients have dental problems that need addressing as soon as possible. Coronavirus has prevented us from seeing our patients face to face over the last few months. We have been keeping a priority list for these patients and will be working through this in date order. Our priority list also takes into account the severity of the dental problem and the patients medical status which may place them in a vulnerable or shielded category. This means there may be a short delay before we are able to see new patients face to face.
If you would like to join our practice as a new dental patient. Please contact us on 01995 605707. Our receptionist will then take your details, deposit and check if you are considered vulnerable or shielded. You will then be contacted by one of our dentists to arrange a consultation and medical history check prior to a face to face appointment. This is to keep you, our staff and patients as safe as possible.
If you are an existing Denplan patient wishing to transfer your care plan to us, please contact Denplan on 0800 401 402 and email details of your current plan and any recent radiographs to firstname.lastname@example.org.
