Our dentist David Baybutt is the owner and practice principle at Staina House Dental Practice Ltd. Our dentists are dedicated to delivering the highest level of patient care. Since qualifying, they have continued increasing their skills and expertise in modern dental techniques by regularly attending study groups, dental conferences and practical courses.
Our experienced dental hygienist provides excellent oral health treatment and preventative advice for all our patients at the practice.
All of our dental nurses are fully qualified and regularly attend training programmes.
Our friendly receptionists are always happy to answer any queries a customer may have.
David Baybutt BDS (Sheff) MJDF RCS Eng
David was born in Lancashire and grew up in Elswick, near Garstang. He qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2009. Since qualifying, David has immersed himself in further education and has been successful in the examinations for The Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, in 2012. After completing vocational training in Lancaster, David furthered his experience working at a Private Practice in Manchester. In the Practice, he provided General Dental Care and treated referral patients for more complex procedures.

David joined us at Staina House in 2013 and is now the owner of the practice.
He enjoys all aspects of Dentistry and has a personal interest in root canal fillings, removable denture work and fixed crown and bridgework. He is passionate about the quality of care he provides, both in terms of the manner in which he cares for his patients and the quality of the clinical work that he provides.
David provides care in friendly, comfortable and relaxed surroundings and enjoys treating his Patients. He strongly believes that by working together in an informed manner, he can provide the highest possible standards of care for them.
David enjoys travelling and spending time with his family.
Charlotte Raimond BDS (Birm) MJDF RCS Eng
Hello, my name is Charlotte Raimond. I graduated from Birmingham University in 2009 and have spent most of my time since then in general dental practice. I also spent a year working in oral and maxillofacial surgery in various hospitals across Liverpool & Chester which was a very different and valuable experience. Soon after this I completed a postgraduate qualification to become a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Currently I am working towards a post graduate Diploma in Restorative Dentistry.

I enjoy all areas of dentistry and believe in providing high quality dentistry in a calm and caring environment. I particularly enjoy treating nervous patients with my gentle approach. I am married to David and we have two lovely young children who keep us very busy outside of dentistry. I enjoy spending time with my family and travelling when we can. I am also a keen swimmer and plan to start competing in this again later this year.

Hello, my name is Jon Smalley and I am looking forward to joining the fantastic team here at Staina House. I qualified as a dentist from Bristol in 2015 after first completing a degree in pharmacology and have gained valuable experience developing my skill set and knowledge since then.

I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and have completed post graduate courses in orthodontics, offering Invisalign and traditional braces to my patients and have also recently completed a year long training programme in restorative dentistry. I am a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and sit on the local dental committee.
In my spare time I enjoy playing squash, training in the gym and travelling abroad. I am excited to be getting to know my new patients here in Garstang and providing you with excellent service and care!
