Dental Veneers

Dental veneers are thin laminates designed to cover the front surface of teeth and are used to improve your smile. They help with uneven tooth alignment, spaces between teeth, chips, cracks, worn and discoloured enamel or stained teeth.

Veneers can be used as a quicker alternative to orthodontic treatment for closing gaps or masking crowded teeth when you may not fancy the idea of braces or if they are not suitable for whatever reason. At Staina House we work very closely with a highly experienced dental laboratory to create natural looking Porcelain Veneers.

With your permission we often send clinical photographs to the lab to assist them in understanding the veneer that best suits you. On some occasions, the laboratory may even come along to the surgery themselves to meet you in person.

If significant changes are being made to your smile we will always provide you with a visual example of what your new smile will look like to ensure you are completely happy before we proceed.

We aim to preserve as much natural tooth as possible when preparing your teeth for veneers, on some occasions we may not need to prepare your own tooth at all, but this will depend on the case.

In every case, we ensure that the veneers are tailor made to suit your aesthetic and functional requirements and ultimately we aim to provide a smile that you are happy with.
